The Arkansas Razorbacks men’s basketball team continued their impressive run with a commanding 95-67 victory over North Carolina A&T, marking their fifth consecutive win. The game, held at Bud Walton Arena, showcased the Razorbacks’ offensive firepower and defensive intensity, leaving little room for their opponents to mount a challenge.
Sophomore forward Jonas Aidoo stole the spotlight, delivering a stellar performance with 22 points, 12 rebounds, and four blocks. His presence on both ends of the court set the tone early, as the Razorbacks built a 15-point lead by halftime. Aidoo’s dominance in the paint was complemented by senior guard Devo Davis, who added 18 points and six assists, showcasing his leadership and ability to create scoring opportunities.
The Razorbacks shot an impressive 53% from the field and 40% from beyond the arc, with freshman sharpshooter Kaden Griffin contributing four three-pointers. Defensively, the team held North Carolina A&T to just 35% shooting, forcing 16 turnovers that were converted into 24 points.
Head coach Eric Musselman praised his team’s effort and execution, emphasizing their growing chemistry. “We’re starting to find our rhythm,” Musselman said in the post-game press conference. “The guys are playing for each other, and it’s showing on the court.”
The victory improves Arkansas’s record to 10-2 on the season, with the team climbing steadily in the national rankings. The win also served as a confidence boost ahead of their upcoming SEC opener against Auburn, a matchup that promises to test their mettle against a top-tier conference rival.
With their winning streak intact and momentum on their side, the Razorbacks are positioning themselves as serious contenders in the SEC, making them a team to watch as the season progresses.
