Clemson quarterback Cade Klubnik has announced that he will bypass the 2025 NFL Draft and return for another season with the Tigers. The junior signal-caller made the announcement on social media, stating, “The story isn’t over.”

Klubnik, who took over as Clemson’s starting quarterback in 2023, played a key role in the Tigers’ 10-4 season. He threw for 3,639 yards and 36 touchdowns with only six interceptions while also adding 463 rushing yards and seven scores on the ground. His performance helped Clemson secure an ACC Championship and a berth in the College Football Playoff, where they fell to No. 4 Texas in the first round.

His decision to return is a significant boost for head coach Dabo Swinney and the Clemson program. With Klubnik at the helm, the Tigers will once again be a contender in the ACC and a potential playoff threat. His experience and leadership will be invaluable, especially as Clemson continues to develop its offensive line and receiving corps.

“I believe in this team, and I know we have unfinished business,” Klubnik said in his announcement. “I can’t wait to get back to work with my brothers and chase a national championship.”

Klubnik was projected as a potential early-round pick in the 2025 NFL Draft
