Thomas is four-star forward Quentin Rhymes from Hillcrest Prep in Phoenix, Arizona. The 6-foot-6, 185-pound athlete is ranked as the No. 5 prospect in Arizona and the No. 25 small forward nationally. Rhymes committed to Nebraska after visiting the campus and considering offers from Boise State, New Mexico, UC Santa Barbara, and UNLV.

 

Adding local talent to the roster, Lincoln Southwest High School’s Braden Frager became the first 2025 commit for Nebraska. The 6-foot-6 small forward, a lifelong Huskers fan, averaged 11 points and seven rebounds per game as a sophomore. Frager’s commitment underscores the program’s emphasis on nurturing in-state talent.
