2. Gabe Cupps

Sophomore guard Gabe Cupps entered the transfer portal after a season marred by injury. He appeared in only four games before undergoing knee surgery, which sidelined him for the remainder of the season. Cupps, a former four-star recruit, expressed gratitude to the Indiana community and left the door open for a potential return, depending on the program’s direction under new leadership.

3. Jakai Newton

Redshirt freshman guard Jakai Newton also opted to transfer after limited playing time due to a knee injury sustained during his senior year of high school. Newton participated in only a handful of games during the 2024–25 season. Despite the setbacks, he remains a promising talent with four years of eligibility remaining, assuming he receives a medical redshirt.
