Arkansas Dominates North Carolina A&T with Double-Double Performances

The Arkansas Razorbacks continued their winning streak in style, cruising to a decisive 95-67 victory over North Carolina A&T on Saturday night at Bud Walton Arena. This marks the Razorbacks’ fifth consecutive win, elevating their season record to an impressive 10-2.

Key to Arkansas’ success were stellar double-double performances from Jonas Aidoo and Boogie Fland. Aidoo dominated the paint with 17 points, 11 rebounds, and three blocks, setting season highs in all three categories. Fland complemented him with an equally impactful game, tallying 12 points and a career-best 11 assists, showcasing his versatility as both a scorer and playmaker.

Trevon Brazile narrowly missed a double-double of his own, finishing with 12 points and nine rebounds, while Adou Thiero added 14 points to the Razorbacks’ balanced offensive attack. The team’s depth and relentless energy were on full display as they raced to an early lead, forcing turnovers and capitalizing on fast-break opportunities. By halftime, the Razorbacks were already ahead by 21 points and never looked back, extending their lead to as much as 37 in the second half.

Head Coach Eric Musselman praised his team’s performance, particularly their defensive intensity and unselfish ball movement. “It was a complete team effort tonight,” Musselman said. “The guys are playing with confidence, and it’s showing on both ends of the floor.”

Fans packed the arena to cheer on their team, creating a charged atmosphere that further fueled the Razorbacks’ dominance. With this win, Arkansas solidifies its position as a contender in the SEC and looks forward to maintaining momentum as conference play approaches.

The Razorbacks return to action next week, facing another non-conference opponent before diving into the highly competitive SEC schedule.
