Florida State University has announced that former football stars Jameis Winston and Rashad Greene will be inducted into the FSU Athletics Hall of Fame this September. The ceremony will honor their significant contributions to the Seminoles’ football program.

 

Jameis Winston, the 2013 Heisman Trophy-winning quarterback, led the Seminoles to a national championship that same year. His leadership and performance were instrumental in securing Florida State’s undefeated season. Winston’s achievements have solidified his legacy as one of the program’s all-time greats.

 

Rashad Greene, a standout wide receiver from 2011 to 2014, holds the school’s all-time records for receptions and receiving yards. His consistent performance and reliability made him a key target in Florida State’s offense, contributing significantly to the team’s success during his tenure.

 

The induction ceremony is scheduled for Friday, September 8, at the Dunlap Champions Club at Doak Campbell Stadium. This event will celebrate the accomplishments of Winston, Greene, and other distinguished athletes who have made a lasting impact on Florida State athletics.

 

This recognition serves as a testament to the enduring legacy of both players and their contributions to the rich history of Seminole football.
