Nick Pringle Joins the Razorbacks: High-Efficiency Big Man Brings Power, Presence, and Proven Production to Arkansas

Fayetteville, AR – The Arkansas Razorbacks have landed a major frontcourt addition with the commitment of Nick Pringle, a high-efficiency big man who brings athleticism, toughness, and experience to the Hogs’ lineup.

The 6-foot-10 forward/center, who previously played at Alabama, is known for his elite rebounding, shot-blocking ability, and offensive efficiency around the rim. Pringle averaged 5.2 points and 4.6 rebounds per game in just 14.2 minutes last season, shooting an impressive 64% from the field. His per-minute production and physical style of play made him a key energy piece for the Crimson Tide during their deep NCAA Tournament run.

Now, Pringle is poised to take on a larger role in Arkansas, where his size and athleticism will be vital under new head coach John Calipari. The Razorbacks are in the midst of a roster rebuild, and Pringle’s experience in the SEC, combined with his proven ability to contribute on both ends of the floor, make him a cornerstone addition.

“Nick brings an edge, a motor, and a mindset that fits what we’re building here,” said Coach Calipari. “He’s a guy who can anchor the paint, run the floor, and make winning plays.”

Pringle’s commitment also signals Arkansas’ intent to compete immediately in the reloaded SEC landscape. With his defensive versatility and ability to finish through contact, he offers a strong interior presence the Razorbacks can count on.

Originally from South Carolina, Pringle began his collegiate career at Wofford before transferring to Dodge City Community College and later joining Alabama. His journey through different levels of college basketball has shaped him into a battle-tested competitor.

As the Razorbacks continue to reshape their roster, the addition of Nick Pringle gives them a dependable and dynamic big man with the potential to become a fan favorite in Bud

Walton Arena.
